November 1, 1981 New Beginning Pot Luck Supper at the fire station in Blue Springs.
November 8, 1981 A planning meeting was held one week later at the church located at 18th and Main.
November 15, 1981 The first worship service for the church was held on November 15th, with lay minister, Ed Lambert, preaching the first sermon.
December 30, 1981 First congregational meeting as a new church
February 14, 1982 Rev. Margi Colerick called as organizing minister
February 21, 1982 Rev. Colerick's first Sunday
April 11, 1982 First Baptism Service
June 6-11. 1982 First Vacation Bible School
October 11, 1982 Recognized by Mid-America Regional Board as a Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Congregation
January 30, 1983 Church Chartered during morning worship service with 89 members.
September 23, 1983 Recognized at General Assembly with 24 other churches for significant growth
December 2, 1984 Groundbreaking service for new building
July 7, 1985 First worship service in new building
September 16, 1985 Rev. Steve Barker began as full time pastor.
November 10, 1985 Cornerstone laid and building dedicated. Church has 126 members.
May 9, 1988 Ground is broken for an addition to the building.
December 1988 Second phase of building is completed
May 31, 1991 Rev. Ralph Nolan ordained
December 1991 Church celebrates 10th Birthday
December 1991 First Shopping Spree
January 2001 Rev. Suzanne Shay called as Minister of Christian Education
September 2002 Rev. Barker leaves for a new calling in Hannibal, MO. Rev. George Campbell called as Interim Minister
December 2003 Rev. Suzanne Shay leaves as Minister of Education
February 2004 Rev. Julie Western begins as Minister
August 2004 Rev. Hubert Neth begins as Interim Minister
February 2005 Rev. Ron Bowen begins ministry as new minister
