Education begins with Sunday School each Sunday at 9 AM. There are currently three classes:  one for Middle and High School Youth and two for adults. Christian Education for children will is held during the morning worship service.

The focus of the Children's Class in on learning the Bible Stories

The focus of the Youth Class is on learning how to apply their faith by dealing with current issues.

One of the Adult Classes is Bible Study around a curriculum The other adult class is a study of the Bible and how it relates to current events

Bible Study is a very important part of the Education program. Bible Studies are designed around a certain subject material for a specific length of time. This fits into people's busy schedules and enables for an intensive study over a short period of time.

Small groups are a key element of GSCC. These groups are designed around a specific subject and are designed to run on a more long term basis.

Youth group currently meets a couple of times a month on Sundays or for scheduled special events. For a more complete listing of youth activities go to the activities page or call Pastor Ron at 228-6908.

Good Shepherd also supports the Camping Ministry of the Greater Kansas City Region at Tall Oaks Camp and Conference Center in Linwood, KS. Camp forms for the summer of 2006 are now available from the church office
